Welcome

Alaskan Malamutes are not for everyone nor are they for every living condition. We strive to breed and socialize our malamutes so that they can be the best citizens possible. However, it is not only the genetics that come into play, Malamutes require a firm yet loving hand and a job! That's right, we believe that our dogs need to do something more than just sit in the yard, they are a working dog, so provide them some work. Take the time to train them for: Canine Good Citizen (CGC), obedience, confirmation, agility, skijoring, weight pulling, sledding, fly ball, backpacking, tracking, search and rescue, and the options continue to grow! As breeders, we believe that a Malamutes should be a part of your family – not just a yard ornament.

We thought we would give you just a little info on our family as well, although we know that you are here to visit our dogs. Our oldest daughter, Courtney, and her husband Justin Hillard have delighted us with 3 Grandchildren, Sophia and her younger brothers Rowan and Gavyn.  Katie Jo our younger daughter is mom to our second Granddaughter Robin Grace.

Joe is a Chiropractor and has been for over thirty years. And Robin, well she has gone to the dogs! For the last few years Robin has been teaching puppy socialization, basic obedience, conformation handling classes as well as private lessons involving dog/dog and dog/people interaction skills. And is also an AKC Judge. We have a wonderful home in Conifer, Colorado where we raise our beautiful family, dog and human alike! We have a great love and admiration for the Alaskan Malamute, between Joe & Robin, we have been breeding, training and showing Malamutes for well over Fifty-five years. We keep in mind what the Inuit's goal was with the Malamute and thus we breed as close to the standard as possible.

Excellence in beauty, type and structure using the Alaskan Malamute Club of America recognized Standard as our standard!
