Echo was a special part of everyone’s life; she was an amazing dog who touched everyone’s heart. She had a very full and wonderful life; traveling the country to win several shows and specialties, mothering several litters of puppies, being a loving friend, and having a great time keeping Courtney busy as a house dog in California. Echo has touched our lives and has left a ever lasting impression in so many ways; by having a litter of puppies in a snow storm in her dogloo, laying down in exhaustion waiting for the photographer to take pictures, and eating an entire box of Russell Stover’s Chocolates saving Courtney only one (at least she shared right). These are only a few of the special things Echo did in her life that we can never forget. Echo is survived by all of her children and grandchildren who show her proud everyday, such as with Broker who upholds the house dog tradition, was the cover girl for the AKC Gazette, and shows beautifully in Juniors with Katie Jo; and of course Ti-Bo in Australia who thanks her everyday for giving him her good looks and super sweet personality. Echo has meant the world to all of us and we will always love and miss her.
And God Le-go my Echo!
Echo standing proud at 3 years old.
Just before her 3rd birthday, Echo takes a Group
1 at the Southern Hills Kennel Club show. June 24, 2000.
At 7 weeks pregnant, Echo is still able to play
with Katie Jo as if she was a puppy... this is what we mean by
"amazing temperment!"
Another Best of Breed for Echo.
At the 1998 AMCA Nationals, Echo placed first
in her 12-18 months class. This was her first trip to the Nationals
of many more to come.
